Drew Waters

School Manager

Drew was born and raised in Nevada City, CA and began skiing at a young age. She competed for four years on her high school ski race team, training and competing at Sugar Bowl, and has had a strong connection to the mountain ever since. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno with a B.A. in Speech Communications and Psychology, Drew began her career in the ski industry in the Race Department at Mammoth Mountain. She has spent more than a decade working in ski industry administration, event management, and operations in the Tahoe and Eastern Sierra communities. She feels at home since joining Sugar Bowl Academy, where she enjoys being part of a community that combines academics, athletics, and a love of the mountains.

Drew and her husband live in Truckee with their two sons. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, camping, mountain and road biking, and golf with her family.
