Ages 14-18

Athletes have multiple program options as they continue to specialize in their selected discipline:

  • School program for advanced ski/ride competition in Alpine, Freeride, Freeski, or Snowboard

  • Team program for specialized ski/ride development in Alpine, Backcountry, Freeride, Freeski, Ski & Ride, or Snowboard

The school program offers a Winter Term for athletes in grades 6-12 and a full-year option for athletes in grades 8-12. The team program offers a winter of full-year option to allow athletes to select a training plan that best meets their goals. Our programs are designed to progressively support athletes as they become more advanced and have increased training demands to compete at elite levels. Athletes seeking to compete at the highest levels should be in a school program, which combines world-class athletic coaching with college preparatory academics and allows athletes to maximize their time on-snow.

Athletes will select a discipline during registration that will determine the focus of their training. We offer four competitive teams:

  • Alpine - Our Alpine teams train and race in Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super G and Downhill.

  • Freeride - Our Freeride teams focus on big mountain skiing in natural, ungroomed terrain and compete in IFSA Freeride events.

  • Freeski - Our Freeski teams focus on jumps, jibs (boxes and rails) and in the halfpipe and compete in USASA events.

  • Snowboard - Our Snowboard teams combines Freeski and Freeride styles with boarder cross and bank slaloms. Competitions vary based on athlete interest.

In addition, athletes who are not focused on competition but want to continue to become expert skiers and riders can select from our non-competitive teams. These programs are not available for students enrolled in the school program:

  • Backcountry - Our Backcountry team focuses on avalanche awareness, tour planning, navigation, and decision making and ski inbounds when not touring.

  • Ski & Ride - Our Ski & Ride teams focuses on all-mountain skiing on a range of terrain that prepares athletes to enjoy any mountain in any conditions.

Included with Team Registration or School Enrollment

  • Unrestricted Sugar Bowl season pass

  • Team jacket

Team Program

Athletes have two options in our team program:

All athletes on a competitive team (Alpine, Freeride, Freeski, or Snowboard) are encouraged to compete in local/regional/national competitions to gain competitive experience. Learn more about Alpine, Freeride, Freeski, and Snowboard
