Mike Iman Scholarship

The Mike Iman Scholarship honors the extraordinary legacy of a pioneer in American snowsports education. Mike Iman dedicated over five decades to advancing ski instruction, serving as a PSIA Certification Examiner for 30 years, Chief Examiner for 10 years, and holding leadership roles including President of the Western Board and Member of the National Board. Mike’s expertise shaped the careers of thousands of instructors, he directed Sugar Bowl’s Mountain Sports Learning Center for 26 years, and he helped design mountain trails that brought joy to skiers and riders alike. Donations to the Mike Iman Scholarship support ski and ride instructors in earning, maintaining, and advancing their Professional Ski Instructors of America-American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA-AASI) certifications, ensuring Mike’s passion for teaching and excellence continues.
