Freeride - TJFS at Sugar Bowl

January 3-4, 2026

Sugar Bowl was stop #1 for the Tahoe Junior Freeride Series, and our home team delivered big results! Conditions were tough, visibility was limited, and the snow was deep. This was an IFSA Junior 2* competition, and some age categories have an A and a B group that are randomly drawn to allow more athletes to participate. SBA athletes who placed in the top 5 in their competition are listed below. Angus Blackburn also received the first Scotty Lapp Belt Buckle for the 2026 season due to his outstanding skiing, character, helpfulness and just all around coolness.
