Dear Sugar Bowl Academy Community,

Even though it has been a short time since our student-athletes departed, we already miss their energy, curiosity, and moments that make us all laugh. While away from Sugar Bowl, we know that grit will be demonstrated on the airbag in Oregon, on the snow in Austria, and during workouts at home. We know that grace will be displayed through respect and kindness to teammates, coaches, hosts, family, and friends. We know that courage will be manifested by facing challenges head-on and making the most of every opportunity. In addition, of course, all the independent study work will be completed by the time we return to in-person school on Monday, October 27. That same day, we will welcome families to Sugar Bowl for Family Day. One of the items we will review during Family Day is our updated SBA Handbook, which contains the policies and procedures we use to provide a safe and positive learning environment for athletics and academics. Students and parents can access the Handbook anytime via Blackbaud and anyone can access it at sbacademy.org under the Resources menu.
